What a last few weeks of sport and like a lot of people I have been glued to the TV inbetween work! First we had Wimbledon and Murry securing second place, then the Tour de France and Wiggins winning emphatically and now of course we are over half way through the Olympics what a fantastic level of sport we are seeing. I really hope that this does manage to support there slogan 'to inspire a generation'.

Another fabulous marathon came to an end yesterday with the rain holding out until 4pm! The physiotherapists were out in force helping those with cramps, sore knees, ankles, back pain and lots of other injuries. After last year we were keen to have more physiotherapists helping at our particular post and my wish came true. Last year I participated in one of the hardest working days of my life - physio'ing for the London Marathon! After a de-brief myself and a colleague walked from the tube station on the Isle of Dogs to Mile Post 17. The weather forecast for that day was hot so we were pleased to be placed with a large selection of St John's ambulance crew members. The day started early, about 8am so we could prepare.
