Last night’s ’Embarrassing Bodies’ programme on channel 4 showed a 24 year old girl visiting the clinic for urinary incontinence secondary to a uterine prolapse. She had given birth 13months beforehand. Aside from a very quick mention of pelvic floor exercises, the only option this lady was given was surgery.
