Yesterday an article appeared in the Daily Mail newspaper. The title was of course inflammatory and designed to make people read, especially the millions of people who regularly do Pilates. However, as I read the article I was inclined to agree with their sentiment, and was pleased to see an excellent shout out for the APPI (Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institue). In the article the women's story tells of over doing Pilates exercises in a group setting which made a back problem much worse. However, her experience was greatly improved by properly trained APPI Pilates sessions.

I am pleased to say that Natus Physiotherapy and Pilates is trained through the APPI and regularly try local Pilates classes to advise on group sessions. Don't forget we offer individual and small group sessions to properly assess and train you in Pilates at whatever level you may be.
