A fun little book that was available via the Amazon Prime Kindle Unlimited First Reads program that's a twist on an old tale but perfect for small people and just in time for Halloween. Monster is curious to find out who is moving into the old house after Vampire moved away. Who could it be?

A clown. Monster's new neighbor is a clown. AAAAAAAAAAAAH!

So follows a tale of the neighborhood adjusting to a rather cheerful new neighbor who is different from them (and from their old neighbor). How will they adjust? Will they become friends? Is it so bad that they're different from each other?

As you can probably tell from the book, this isn't exactly a cliffhanger. But overall I enjoyed the book, thought it was a cute twist and of course had a nice message. The illustrations are colorful and I'll bet children will enjoy this a lot.

A good gift to some smaller people in your life and a great book to read at the beginning of the school year.

    Great story...

Scary things scared of clowns, haha! Its colourful and easy to read.
The only drawback is the kindle format, in my humble opinion, it would be better if only one page were visible at a time. I think it might be confusing for kids. Maybe this only happens on a 10 tablet?

    Original fun story

This book is fun to read, not too scary, and shows a cheerful clown who makes friends in an upbeat way with all his grumpy monster neighbors. Children will love it and perhaps learn positive ways to make new friends.

    What a great story!

I saw this in my email and bought it for my Grandsons lessons. They both loved it. A very creative way to show that being different is ok and not to judge people before you know them.
