Absolutely worth a full five stars because I only put it down when lack of sleep forced me to Just when you think things couldn t get worse or the tension get any higher, Mr Melchiorri ramps it up a notch The Skulls are getting scarier, the government is getting sneakier and the Hunters are fighting even harder to survive I couldn t ask forfrom a book in this genre This was an ARC, my opinions are my own.

Book 4The fourth book keeps the story moving along strongly, AND ends with most of our characters in a tenuously better place, for now.

I wish I could like this, but I find the whole series so boring I keep trying to read these books, but I can t really see any of the characters as real people The characterisation is so bad, they re all predictable and one dimensional When you also take into account that the action scenes are just as predictable and one note, well the whole story falls apart What a shame.

Great continuation of the story Of course this isn t the end and I am very happy to know there is still at least 1book coming Lots of edge of your seat action Can t wait to see where this story is going Loving it

4 is much like 3 in its pacing and suspense level You don t stop reading until you absolutely have to Characters are evolving and situations twisting and turning and you wonder who is going to make it and who isn t And the story continues ON to book 5.

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers To view it, click here I have been a huge fan of the Tide series since book one, but there was just something about Deadrise that didn t quite sit right Was it the inclusion of a random faction of violent sex offenders that offered nothing to the story but shock value with a cardboard cut out of the Walking Dead s Negan and his eye for an eye policy Perhaps Wait, no it was 100% this. The action scenes are brilliantly written but non stop Nothing goes right for the crew of the Huntress until the final chapter, which I have been a huge fan of the Tide series since book one, but there was just something about Deadrise that didn t quite sit right Was it the inclusion of a random faction of violent sex offenders that offered nothing to the story but shock value with a cardboard cut out of the Walking Dead s Negan and his eye for an eye policy Perhaps Wait, no it was 100% this. The action scenes are brilliantly written but non stop Nothing goes right for the crew of the Huntress until the final chapter, which makes for a lot of action but not a whole lot of anything else I felt like I was drifting away from characters I loved from the outset of the series since they are scarcely heard from aside from the occasional lines in the main protagonist s Michael Bay action fest. Will most likely read the next book to see if those lesser characters becomeinvolved and hope that the story won t just revolve around one man and his family
