What the bloody hell did I just read I m actually gobsmacked and if the first book was a hit for me this one for me knocked it clean out of the water.I have literally pulled an all nighter here the plan was to read till 20% then get some shut eye.Well nope, that sure didn t play out the way I intended as I just couldn t put this addictive and enthralling tale down I was like just one page and before I knew it morning had arrived.I am now absolutely bogeyed and running on pure coffee fumes but need to get my thoughts down on here so I can start the third instalment. So this was, in my opinion, a sensational addition to this series and I felt like I was on a runaway train with no idea where I was heading to this was absolutely explosive and volatile but also sweet, decadent and dirty and as Pascal slowly unravelled I was agog with trepidation and a sense of deep dread I was unable to stop myself from watching in shocked disbeliefAlso, Alexander really came into his own in regards to his support of Lilah and I was loving the protective but still intensely sadistic vibe he was giving off in spades.I really got the impression he actually cared about Lilah as an individual and not just as an extension of his care of Pascal s wellbeing he seemed so committed and invested in her eventual success. There was an awful lot going on here in terms of plot direction but this honestly didn t play out how I thought it would my original anticipation was surpassed and Eden...

Honest review ARC Can it get any better OHHHHHH MYYYYYYY GODDDDDDD The devil may care but quite frankly, I don t Pascal Van Der Braak The man is a magnificent conundrum of puzzles, each and every one of them I love him, then I hate him, then I love him a bit and shhhhhh my Alex my oh my Will she ever have what it takes to thrive in their world What is their world, anyway Lilah James knows but one thing, Pascal Van Der Braak is the part that completes her, he challenges her inner cravings, he is frustration in every sense of the the word and he gives NOTHING until he is ready and feels your worth, not until he feels it, like the beat of his heart will he give anything to anyone except that is, for one man Alexander White The contradiction of a man, a man who sees Pascals need for Lilah, a need so deep, that runs so true, as deep as your soul and for Pascal, Alexander will allow almost everything.Lilah s training continues in the 2nd part of this trilogy, at the Hands of The Master Lilah must find her true self in order to thrive in their world, a world so dark even the the brightest of lights manifests in just a flicker Lilah continues to work for Alexander by day delving into matters of importance, continuing to investigate for him whilst keeping a secret about Pascal that is tearing her apart, challenging her loyalties to both of these dominant males. This book is a whirlwind of emotions friendships are tested,...

A few months ago I picked up the White Trilogy and my little book wormy world was tipped on its axis from all the twists, turns, returns and rebounds I adore a good roller coaster thrill ride and Eden s Gate continues the ride and raises the bar I loved every surprise and even the dark, gritty unpleasant ones With Eden s gate, I discovered that no matter how much I adore Pascal, there were so many times I wanted to take his cane and rap him on the noggin or other areas a few times Predictable is not a term that I would use for Pascal, Lilah, Alexander or Beth as these characters have evolved so much, and none of them can be placed in nice comfortable boxes that make all of us feel as though we know the measure of a person character. These books are not stand alone as many of the pieces of the past that were hinted at in the White Trilogy are blown up in vivid detail in the VDB trilogy Pascal s world has absolutely been spun and he is having to adapt to a new reality that he was never prepared for based on the demons on his past and we learn about the breadth of knowledge that Alexander has about his enigmatic friend ...

Where to start I don t trust this author with the characters that she s created and I ve grown to love This is a compliment because I never know where the story is going to go next After 5 books, you d think that I d have learnt, but I ll never be able to second guess Alex or Pascal Their characters continue to grow larger than life, but in these books, I feel Pascal has developed the most You get to see his softer side, his heart, and it makes this story all the better for it.There were so many beautiful moments in this story Romance, in the traditional sense of the word, isn t what I expect from Ms Hart but this book was full of it You did have to look, amongst the sordid, hot and filthy good scenes, but this is why perhaps, Pascal s story makes my heart beat a little faster I m a romantic at heart Lilah and Alex s friendship is another highlight of Eden s Gate, and it truly made me smile It s grown and flourished over the last two instalments an...

Charlotte Hart continues her VDB trilogy Eden s Gate by following the lives of Lilah James and Pascal Van Der Braack as they learn how to navigate the intricacies of their relationship and burgeoning love The ends to which Lilah is willing to go to become the woman Pascal needs her to be is a central theme of this offering Hart navigates the dark side of their world with an insight that only a rare few possess and she does it with style and care As she revealed about her main characters, I couldn t help but become their cheering section, urging them on in their destruction of each other s walls and in the n...
