This is a sturdy book made to stand up to the hands of its young target audience The interactiveness of the book in that it enables readers to 'slot' characters where they belong will add to the reader's experience The characters are uite flimsy and though the one I have has all characters in relatively good condition will not stand up to the test of time The copy I'm reviewing is from a university library where the target audience has no access I was surprised that other reviewers had given four stars considering the first page of the story has 'swop babies' Spelling mistake anyone? Not a great start to a beginner book that's introducing children to reading Other than that the pictures are great with a lot of white space that will draw the young reader's eye to the colourful illustrations A great first reader to be read with Mum and Dad though hopefully they'll fix the spelling error so that care can be taken with the characters
