    Great introductory book for someone starting on a vegan lifestyle The introductory part of the book is fantastic and covers a lot of argument points that one might encounter when going vegan, which can even be good refreshers for seasoned vegans The remainder of the book is a bunch of recipes for 12 weeks which provide a great variety of balanced options This would be one to pass around to people who are interested in a vegan lifestyle to help mentor and guide an individual towards successful Great introductory book for someone starting on a vegan lifestyle The introductory part of the book is fantastic and covers a lot of argument points that one might encounter when going vegan, which can even be good refreshers for seasoned vegans The remainder of the book is a bunch of recipes for 12 weeks which provide a great variety of balanced options This would be one to pass around to people who are interested in a vegan lifestyle to help mentor and guide an individual towards successfully transitioning to a vegan lifestyle

    Although I m not completely through this book, I believe I m ready to review it The book starts by stating its purpose as preventing peanut butter and jelly Vegans getting discouraged by how unhealthy they feel and giving up on the diet So, the menus in the book were supposed to be nutritionally balanced Admittedly, the 3,000 calorie plan is a little high for shrimps like me who are trying to lose weight ,so if you want lower calorie menus you re kind of on your own anyway Plus the recipes Although I m not completely through this book, I believe I m ready to review it The book starts by stating its purpose as preventing peanut butter and jelly Vegans getting discouraged by how unhealthy they feel and giving up on the diet So, the menus in the book were supposed to be nutritionally balanced Admittedly, the 3,000 calorie plan is a little high for shrimps like me who are trying to lose weight ,so if you want lower calorie menus you re kind of on your own anyway Plus the recipes in here are full of things like sugar and corn syrup that I m trying to remove from my diet Healthy Well, maybe The best parts of this book are The Vegan Pantry and substitutions chart Chapter 3 If you could get hold of it at your local library and copy just those pages, that would be all you d need to go Vegan, in my opinion

    Started reading it, my girlfriend made some random recipes from the book on her own and every one she made was crap I wouldn t feed non vegans or even vegans I threw the book in the recycling binand I found it in our car weeks later Crap book, sorry to say
